The estate, founded by a German missionary, is located east of the city of Darjeeling in the Himalayas. The Indian name of the Risheehat tea estate is Shring Kaman. Unopened buds and the next two leaves of the first harvest season are plucked for this tea. The tea has a splendid, flowery flavour. Translucent light brown colour.
