China Pu Erh-thee komt uit de provincie Yunnan in China. Vanwege de kleur van het aftreksel staat hij ook bekend als “rode” thee. Deze gefermenteerde thee kenmerkt zich door zijn aardse, licht zoete smaak en een sterker aroma dan gebruikelijk. Net als groene thee wordt Pu Erh-thee gezet rond 80°C, en de blaadjes kunnen meerdere keren worden gebruikt.

Ingrediënten: Pu Erh-thee.

Bereiding: 80°C, 1-2 minuten.

Gewicht: 80 g.


How to prepare
  • Use one heaped teaspoon of leaves, about 2-3 g, per cup, about 2 dl.
  • Heat the water to 80 °C (176 °F).
  • Steep for 1-2 minutes, then lift out the leaves.
  • Give the leaves a quick rinse with hot water first, then brew.
