CHINA GUNPOWDER

The leaves of this tea are rolled into tight pellets, and its flavour is refreshing and tangy. A special technique perfected over centuries to preserve freshness.

Once in the cup with hot water added, the leaves of the shiny pellets unfurl back into life. The flavour is original, strong and includes tart aromas.

Ingredients: green tea.

Weight: 100 g.


How to prepare
  • Use one heaped teaspoon of leaves, about 2-3 g, per cup, about 2 dl.
  • Heat the water to 75-80 °C (167-176 °F).
  • Steep for 2 minutes, then lift out the leaves.
  • Avoid boiling water, it turns green tea bitter.
