Pai Mu Tan is one of the Chinese white teas, which is produced in Fujian province according to traditional practice. In addition to heating and rolling, the production process involves skinning and drying.
Only those parts of the tea bush with large white leaves and 'silver' buds are picked. The tea has a pleasant, mild flavour and a refreshing aroma. The colour is light and bright.
