Det här "teet" utvinns ur innerbarken på det sydamerikanska röda lapachoträdet. Rätt tillagat påminner den behagliga smaken lite om vanilj. Lapacho ska avnjutas ljummet eller kallt.

Tillagning: Lägg 1 till 2 msk lapachobark i en liter kallt vatten. Om du föredrar det, värm teet tills det är ljummet och låt det dra i 5-15 minuter.

How to prepare
  • Use one heaped teaspoon of leaves, about 2-3 g, per cup, about 2 dl.
  • Heat the water to 95-100 °C (203-212 °F).
  • Steep for 4-6 minutes, then lift out the leaves.
  • Naturally caffeine free, so a longer steep will not make it bitter.
